CareerTruss uses different statuses to show the progress of internship applications and internship listings. This page provides a quick reference for every status used across the platform.
Reference guide
Status names may appear in dashboards, notifications, and other parts of CareerTruss. Their availability may vary depending on your account type.
Application statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Submitted | Your application has been successfully received. |
| Reviewing | The employer is currently evaluating your application. |
| Shortlisted | You've been selected to continue in the hiring process. |
| Accepted | The employer has chosen you for the opportunity. |
| Not Selected | The employer has decided not to move forward with your application. |
Listing statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending Review | The listing is awaiting moderation. |
| Live | The listing is publicly visible and accepting applications. |
| Expired | The application deadline has passed. |
| Not Approved | The listing requires updates before publication. |
| Archived | The listing is no longer active and is retained for reference. |

Some statuses may change as CareerTruss introduces new features. Additional statuses may be added over time to support new workflows and platform improvements.
