Admin ( Site Superintendent ) accounts
CareerTruss also has an internal Site Superintendent role used to operate and protect the platform. Admin access is not a public account type and is granted separately by CareerTruss founder.
Administrators have absolute elevated permissions that allow them to manage platform operations, review content, enforce policies, and respond to security or abuse issues.
- Review and moderate internship listings.
- Manage moderation decisions and review outcomes.
- Manage or restrict problematic accounts.
- Investigate platform abuse and suspicious activity.
- Remove or modify content when platform rules require it.
- Apply platform-level restrictions, including IP restrictions where appropriate.
Warning
Can I change my account role?
No. A Student account cannot be converted into an Employer account, and an Employer account cannot be converted into a Student account.
Your role is assigned when the account is created and remains associated with that account. If you need to use CareerTruss for a different purpose, you will need to create a separate account with the appropriate role.
