Review reasons

The standardised reasons attached to a moderation decision.

Last updated 31 Jul 2026

Overview

If a listing cannot be approved immediately, CareerTruss provides one or more review reasons explaining why changes are required. These reasons are intended to help employers improve their listings before resubmitting them for review.

A review reason is not a penalty

Receiving a review reason does not mean your employer account has violated platform policies. In most cases, it simply means additional information or corrections are required before publication.

Common review reasons

How to respond

  1. Read the review reason

Carefully review the feedback provided with your listing.
  2. Update your listing

Correct or expand the relevant sections before submitting again.
  3. Resubmit for review

Once the necessary changes have been made, submit the listing for another moderation review.

Tip

Listings that are complete, accurate, and transparent are generally easier to review and approve.
