Welcome to CareerTruss
CareerTruss is being built as a connected career ecosystem for students, employers, and the Truss systems that bring them together. The goal is not simply to create another place to find internships, but to build the complete infrastructure around the journey from education to opportunity, making an efficient & productive structural system for students, employers, companies & CareerTruss itself.
Internships are the first operational layer of CareerTruss. From there, the platform is destined to grow into a broader network of career opportunities, professional development, and the Truss systems that support them.
Welcome to the Truss
The CareerTruss ecosystem
CareerTruss is made up of connected layers rather than isolated features. Each layer has a different purpose, but they are designed to work together as one system.
Student Core
Build your identity. Discover opportunities. Apply, grow, and transform your life—and your country.
Employer Core
Create opportunities, discover talent, and manage the hiring pipeline, foster economic empowerment.
Opportunity Core
Access a growing network of internships and future career opportunities.
Truss Core
The systems connecting accounts, applications, notifications, trust, and platform services.
Core Admin / Site Superintendent
The operational layer responsible for moderation, platform quality, and system control.
How the Truss works
CareerTruss is designed around connected workflows. An action taken by one side of the platform can create an event, update another workflow, and keep the people involved informed. In the end, all systems are internconnected.
The basic connection
Student → CareerTruss ← Employer
A typical internship journey can connect several systems:
- Profile → the student establishes their career identity.
- Opportunity → the student discovers an internship & other opportunities.
- Application → the student enters the employer's pipeline.
- Review → the employer evaluates the applicant.
- Decision → the application moves forward or ends.
- Notification → the relevant people are kept informed.

Where CareerTruss is heading
Today

Deeper career infrastructure, employer workflows, trust systems, and automated communication.
The larger ecosystem

Why "Truss"?
A truss is a structure made stronger by the way its individual parts support one another. No single beam carries the entire structure.
CareerTruss follows the same principle. Students create demand for opportunities. Employers create those opportunities. Moderation helps protect the network. Automation keeps systems moving. The platform connects everything together.
