CareerTruss ("CareerTruss", "we", "us", or "our") is a platform that connects students and early-career individuals with internships and career opportunities, while providing employers with tools to post opportunities and review applicants.

By accessing or using CareerTruss, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the platform.

CareerTruss is intended primarily for students, recent graduates, early-career individuals, employers, and organisations involved in education or recruitment.

You must provide accurate information about yourself and must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms in your jurisdiction.

If you are using CareerTruss on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to act on its behalf.

Some features of CareerTruss require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place through your account.

You must not create an account using false information, impersonate another person or organisation, or create accounts for abusive or fraudulent purposes.

If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, please contact us as soon as possible.

Students are responsible for ensuring that the information in their profile, resume, applications, and other materials is accurate and belongs to them.

You should only apply to opportunities that genuinely interest you and should not use automated, misleading, or abusive methods to submit applications.

Creating a profile or applying through CareerTruss does not guarantee an interview, selection, internship, employment, or any other outcome.

Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the opportunities, company information, requirements, and other information they submit to CareerTruss.

Employers must not post fake, misleading, discriminatory, or unlawful opportunities.

Employers must treat applicant information responsibly and use it only for legitimate recruitment and evaluation purposes.

CareerTruss may review, reject, edit, remove, or request changes to any listing submitted to the platform.

Training and Bootcamp opportunities

Training and Bootcamp opportunities listed on CareerTruss must be conducted fully through in-person, on-site sessions at a verifiable physical location. Online-only training programs, remote coaching programs, prerecorded course packages, paid online courses, and similar digital learning products are not permitted under the Training / Bootcamp category.

Employers must provide the complete physical address of the primary training venue. Normal digital communication, supporting documents, or online payment methods may be used where appropriate, but the training itself must be conducted in person at the disclosed physical location.

Where a fee is required, employers must clearly disclose the total mandatory amount, what the fee covers, any additional compulsory charges, the relevant payment or fee-collection details , and the applicable refund or cancellation policy.

Employers must not conceal mandatory fees, introduce undisclosed compulsory charges after a student applies, misrepresent the training format or location, or redirect students to an undisclosed paid course, digital product, or other paid service.

CareerTruss may request clarification or supporting information regarding the organisation, training venue, fee structure, payment details, refund policy, or program format. CareerTruss may reject, suspend, edit, unpublish, or remove listings that do not comply with these requirements.

CareerTruss aims to review listings before they are published. However, the existence of a listing on CareerTruss does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of the employer, organisation, internship, compensation, or outcome.

Information may change after a listing is published. Employers are responsible for keeping their listings accurate and up-to-date and must promptly update a listing when a material term of the opportunity changes.

Employers must not use one set of material terms to attract applicants through CareerTruss and then privately offer or require materially different terms without clearly updating the listing and informing affected applicants.

Material terms include, where applicable, the stipend or other compensation, internship duration, work mode, location, role, major responsibilities, expected working hours or time commitment, compensation structure, and any mandatory fees or charges.

An employer must not advertise a paid or stipend-based internship and later represent the same opportunity as unpaid. An employer must also not advertise a specific internship duration and later require additional months that were not disclosed in the listing.

Employers may correct genuine errors or make legitimate changes to an opportunity, but must not continue recruiting through an outdated listing or use inaccurate information to attract applicants.

CareerTruss may remove listings that appear to be inaccurate, expired, abusive, fraudulent, misleading, or otherwise unsuitable for the platform.

When you apply to an opportunity through CareerTruss, the information you choose to submit may be shared with the employer that posted that opportunity for the purpose of reviewing your application.

CareerTruss does not make hiring decisions on behalf of employers. Employers are responsible for their own recruitment decisions and processes.

Some opportunities may use an external application process. In those cases, you may be redirected to a third-party website and will be subject to that website's terms and policies.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to CareerTruss, including your profile information, resume, links, and other materials.

By submitting content to CareerTruss, you give us permission to store, process, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the platform.

You must not submit content that you do not have the right to use, that is deliberately misleading, or that violates another person's rights.

You must not use CareerTruss to:

• - Commit fraud, deception, or any unlawful activity.
• - Impersonate another person or organisation.
• - Post fake, misleading, or fraudulent opportunities.
• - Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• - Collect or misuse another person's personal information.
• - Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform.
• - Upload malicious code or interfere with the service.
• - Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, scripts, automated agents, data-extraction tools, or similar technologies to access, collect, copy, download, reproduce, monitor, or systematically harvest platform data or content without our permission.
• - Use automated systems to abuse, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the platform.
• - Use VPNs, proxies, cloud servers, virtual machines, remote browsers, or similar services to conceal abusive automated activity, evade rate limits or access restrictions, bypass security measures, or continue accessing CareerTruss after being restricted.
• - Attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, authentication requirements, security measures, or other technical restrictions implemented by CareerTruss.

CareerTruss may contain links to websites, services, or platforms operated by third parties.

We do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms.

You should review the policies of third-party services before using them or providing them with personal information.

We work to keep CareerTruss available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from errors.

We may temporarily suspend or restrict access to parts of the platform for maintenance, security, updates, or other operational reasons.

CareerTruss provides a platform for discovering and managing career opportunities. We do not guarantee that any particular user will receive an internship, interview, job, or other opportunity through the platform.

We also do not guarantee the actions, decisions, conduct, or performance of any student, employer, organisation, or other third party using CareerTruss.

You are responsible for evaluating opportunities and making your own decisions before sharing information, attending interviews, accepting offers, or entering into agreements with other parties.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CareerTruss and the people involved in operating it will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.

This includes losses arising from interactions, communications, applications, opportunities, offers, or agreements between users and third parties.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

You may stop using CareerTruss and request deletion of your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, rate-limit requests, restrict access, or block access from relevant IP addresses or other technical identifiers if we reasonably believe that a user has violated these terms, engaged in abuse or fraud, created a safety or security risk, or otherwise misused CareerTruss.

We may also take action where required to comply with legal obligations or protect the platform and its users.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

Your continued use of CareerTruss after updated terms become effective means that you accept the updated terms.
